After your company proposed the plan to rebuild Shibuya’s Miyashita Park to a sports facility and charge admission from visitors, you have been refusing to listen to the growing public opinion opposing the plan and calling for a fair discussion and democratic decision.
Also, you have been furthering your plans in close coordination with Shibuya Ward, in advance of necessary democratic processes to eliminate the people seeking refuge inside the park.
The foolhardiness and sheer cruelty of this plan, which has been advanced under the guise of “social responsibility” while ignoring public opinion, is really fitting of the company slogan: “JUST DO IT” and well worthy of this award.
